Friday 01-08-16

Our second day of travel was only 520 miles where we landed in Columbia Missouri. After some light rain in the morning, temps rose again into the high 40s. No snow if any was on the ground. Posted speed limits were 70 an 75 MPH. Not many cars on the road but a lot of trucks. We stayed at the Drury Inn which features FREE evening cocktails, FREE food and of course a big breakfast in the morning. With all this there is no need to leave the hotel to go to dinner. It is well worth the price.
