Last week (Tuesday) started with my son and daughter-in-law having their
first child, a wonderful baby girl - Elizabeth Ann. The baby was born at
8:25am, weighting in at 7 lbs and 7 ozs. and is 20 inches long. After visiting
the baby on Tuesday and Wednesday and making sure there weren't any issues on
Thursday, we left for Colorado
later that day. It was interesting to find out that there isn't a nursery where
you would look at the babies from behind a glass window. The baby is now
brought into the room with the mother and starts the bonding process. Times
have changed.
