After an early
temp of -2 degrees, it warmed up to the high teens by 11am and into the low 20s
by 2pm. After Glenna put the finishing touches on Benny's costume we left for
the parade around 2:30pm. After registration, the dogs parade the city streets.
Five blocks east and then back. It is hard to keep the dogs moving past all of
the snow piles. Returning back to the starting point, the dogs then past by the
judges. Even though I thought Benny was number one, he came in SECOND in the
King of the Cajuns category. It was a long afternoon and we are proud of BENNY.
Hopefully we will see a lot of dog pictures in the local newspapers. Tomorrow
is Super Bowl Sunday. It will be another long party day.
