Sunday 02-21-16

Another beautiful day. After breakfast we went to mass and did a couple of chores including getting the car washed. We then got ready to go snow shoeing. The first trail we went to in Frisco was very icy and wasn't a good choice. We then went to the Lily'sPad Trailhead near the top of Buffalo Mtn. Here the conditions were MUCH better. However we did encounter several fallen trees where we had to limbo under them. We went out on the trail 45 minutes and back for a total of about 1 1/2 hours. It was very tiring. When we got back to the car, we decided we needed to go for cocktails at Copper Mtn. Tomorrow's forecast calls for snow in the afternoon and evening.
