Well it is
Groundhog Day and neither Punxsutawney Phil, Staten Island Chuck or
Breckenridge Bob saw their shadow this morning. I guess winter is starting to
subside. Overnight we received another 7 inches of snow bringing our total to
over 20 inches for the storm. The ski resorts received totals ranging between 2
and 3 feet. This should keep us going for a while. We went to Copper Mtn to ski
today. The parking lots were packed. But on the slopes, the skiers must have
been in a different place. It was like a winter wonderland and beautiful
playground that we had all to ourselves. According to the weather channel, the
sun will be out tomorrow and temps will remain in the low teens. It will be
cold thru Saturday. Many of the highways east of Denver
are still closed all the way out to the Kansas
state line. Lets hope we can enjoy the snow tomorrow.
