It was another
morning where I had to go out and clean my car off. It is becoming a chore for
me. And while I thought it was going to be a sunny day, it was far from that.
The temps were below zero most of the morning and only got to + 2 by 10am. The
bad thing was the wind picked up to nearly 20 mph. This made the wind chill
feel about minus 20 degrees. While most of my friends decided not to go out, we
went to Copper Mtn. Travelling across the Dillon Dam road we encountered a slow
go because of blowing snow. When we arrived at Copper, the parking lot was
almost empty. We were able to get in a couple of runs and then wisely decided
to call it a day. After warming up in the house, we went to Pug Ryans for
afternoon cocktails and sit by their fireplace. Maybe tomorrow will be a
"warmer day"
